This product is only suit for Macbook air A1465 and A1466 version of late 2013, MacBook Pro retina A1398 A1502 version of late 2013, please confirm if your computer is compatible.
The Adapter card compatible with M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 AHCI protocol SSD size 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, cannot support M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 NVMe solid state drives.
The speed and other properties do not change, only form the conversion interface.

950 PRO (MZVKV256 MZVKV512) and other pci-nvme SSDs.
3.This is an alternative product, it is different with your original hard drive. Also, it turns off the system sleep function after installing the operating system.
Note:
1. Only adapter card is sold, the other items in the pictures are not sold!
2. The adapter card supports M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 AHCI SSD size 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280, cannot support M.2 NGFF PCIe x4 NVMe solid state drives.
3. Power-saving sleep mode may not be able to use. Enter "System Preferences"/ "power saving", Then close the "power adapter"/ "put hard drives to sleep when possible" and "battery"/ "put hard drives to sleep when possible". Then move the "turn off the display after" arrow button to the "Never" position.
4. open the trim function after Mac OS installed, no need to open manually if you install Windows OS.
5. Prepare the USB disk driver before using the adapter.
About MacBook Air SSD interface standard:
1. 2010 and 2011 version MacBook Air SSD is 6 + 12 Pins, only one side has contact, the size is 109mm * 24mm. It is SATA interface.
2. 2012 version MacBook Air SSD is 7+17 Pins, the size is 109mm * 24mm. 2012 MacBook Pro SSD version is 7+17 Pins, the size is 89mm * 33mm. It is a SATA interface.
3. 2013 and 2014 and 2015 MacBook Air SSD versions are both sides have contact, one side is 16 + 12 Pins, the other side is 11 + 14 pins,. The size is 89mm * 24mm. It is a PCIe X4 interface.
